Pyongyang Says Unilateral Disarmament 'Unimaginable'

North Korea says it's "unimaginable" for it to accept a U.S. call for unilateral disarmament.

In an interview with the North's official KCNA news agency Tuesday, the North's Foreign Ministry spokesman accused high-ranking U.S. officials of openly advocating collective pressure on Pyongyang to disarm itself.

The spokesman stressed that his government wouldn't agree to disarm until the U.S. drops its supposedly hostile policy, which Pyongyang claims is aimed at overthrowing the North Korean government.
