A Tokyo-based pro-North Korean paper insists that the second Bush administration should put into action its will to change U.S. policies on North Korea in the next round of six-way nuclear talks.
The Internet edition of the Chosun Shinbo said that if Washington moves to act on its words, Pyongyang will make its own move to settle the protracted nuclear standoff.
The newspaper also said that U.S. President George W. Bush's inaugural speech and another speech outlining his administrative policies will presage future Washington policies regarding the communist state. It went on to say that Bush's second foreign policy team should take resolute steps to alter U.S. policy on North Korea if it wants to resume the six-way talks aimed at resolving the nuclear impasse.
