N. Korea Earns 2nd Worst Country Risk Rating

North Korea was found to have ranked near the bottom in international risk ratings last year.

Citing country risk ratings released by Euromoney, a leading monthly on global financial issues, the Export-Import Bank of Korea said on Friday that North Korea ranked 184th out of 185 countries last year.

Country risk is a significant factor considered by global companies investing in a foreign country. Country risk analyses include the assessment of economic reform, transparency in government policies and regulation, and balance of payments of a country.
