Two North Korean fishermen rescued over the weekend by South Korea maritime police have returned to their homeland Monday morning via the truce village of Panmunjom on the border between the two Koreas.

The two drifted at sea off the east coast for 15 days since January 9 due to engine failure and fuel shortage, before being rescued.
