First Lady Yi Hee-ho has sent on-screen messages to the opening ceremony of the Visit Korea Year 2001, held in downtown Seoul Monday.
Yi, who also is the Honorary Chairperson of the Visit Korea Year Organizaing Committee, said in the message that the new year will hopefully disseminate messages of peace and harmony to foreigners who with visit Korea, the last remnant of the cold war structure.
