Korea, Japan share a team

A joint soccer team of South Korea and Japan have played to a one to one tie against a selection of international stars.

The exhibition game was played before a crowd of 46,000 at the Yokohama stadium that will stage the 2002 World Cup final.

Ko Jong-su of South Korea opened the scoring in the 17th minute off a free kick. Robert Prosinecki of Croatia, a second-half substitute, tied it in the 72nd minute on a 25-yard shot.

South Korea and Japan are the co-hosts of the 2002 World Cup soccer finals.
