Korean Americans to Visit N.Korea to Help Hungry Children

A group of Korean-Americans from Los Angeles will visit North Korea next month to extend aid to North Korean children.

Kim Kwang-nam, the president of the Los Angeles chapter of the Advisory Council on Democratic and Peaceful Unification of Korea has agreed to deliver one hundred-50 goats and vinyl covers for greenhouses to three regions in the North, including Hoeryung and Musan. He said the donations will be used to improve the nutrition of North Korean children.

It will be the first North Korea visit by officials of the U.S.-based advisory council.
