Sci-tech minister to attend PTC conference

Science and Technology Minister Seo Jung-uck will leave for Honolulu, Hawaii, Saturday afternoon to attend the 23rd annual conference of the Pacific Communications Council (PTC) on Monday.
According to the ministry, minister Seo is scheduled to deliver a key-note address on the global information society at the meeting.
After completing his schedule in Hawaii, the minister also plans to make a five-day visit to Japan from Wednesday for talks with Nobutaka Machimura, Japan's Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Minister.
During his stay, he will tour Japan's various nuclear and science facilities, including its National Space Development Agency.
