British Foreign Minister Bill Rammel has lambasted North Korea's human rights conditions as being the worst in the world.

The minister was speaking at the 61st session of the U.N. Human Rights Commission currently convening in Geneva.

According to the minister, the E.U. will soon issue a resolution denouncing human rights abuses committed in the reclusive Stalinist state.

He also outlined Pyongyang's record of excessive abuses, including kidnapping, arbitrary detention, torture and summary execution.
