Materials that will be used for inter-Korean economic cooperation projects will be delivered to the communist state via a land route Friday.

A South Korean textile manufacturer says 20 eight-ton trucks carrying 36 weaving machines will arrive at the North's capital city on Friday.

The equipment will be installed in a joint venture firm under construction in Pyongyang.

The South Korean firm produces paper, socks and undergarments using hemp.
