North Korea says Japan has challenged international justice and conscience by distorting historical facts in its school books.

The state-run Korean Central News Agency said in a commentary entitled "Unable to Erase Bloodshed History" that Japan's attempts to distort history is an unbearable desecration against the Korean people and is a direct challenge to international justice and conscience.

The agency also said Japan's history distortions are not only an irresponsible act of covering up its past atrocities but also clearly demonstrates Tokyo's ambition to re-invade its neighboring countries.
