Abductees' Families Urge NK Sanctions

The families of people kidnapped by North Korea have urged Japan to slap economic sanctions on the North to resolve the abduction issue.

Japanese media on Wednesday said the families visited Chief Cabinet Secretary Hiroyuki Hosoda and delivered a resolution to that effect adopted in a rally Sunday.

They urged strong action by the Japanese government, saying four months have passed since Hosoda warning of "firm measures" unless the North sincerely addresses the matter
