North Korea has denounced the United States for deploying advanced weapons on the Korean Peninsula before the six-way talks started.

Radio Pyongyang on Friday said Washington recently deployed advanced ground-to-ground missiles in the U-S Forces Korea's Second Infantry Division, F-15E fighter bombers and F-117 stealth bombers.

It said the recent moves show Washington's hideous intent to destroy the North, calling U-S promises to peacefully resolve the nuclear issue "complete lies."

The broadcast also said the United States seeks to develop small nuclear bombs to destroy underground facilities in the North.
