The minor opposition Democratic Labor Party and North Korea's Social Democratic Party will seek a July meeting between their party leaders in Pyongyang.

The DLP on Friday said it held working-level talks over three days with its counterpart in the North's Mount Geumgang from Tuesday.

The two sides agreed to have the DLP chairman visit Pyongyang in July.

They will set a specific date for the talks in June, when Pyongyang holds various events to mark the fifth anniversary of the 2000 inter-Korean summit.
