'NK Experiencing Culture Shock'

Newsweek says North Korea's culture shock grows as more culture and information abroad flow into the world's most reclusive country.

In its latest edition, the magazine said North Koreans around the border often watch
Western movies or listen to South Korean radio.

Several defectors in the South have contacted relatives in the North by cellular phone.

University students in Pyongyang have dyed their hair after watching South Korean TV.

A Newsweek reporter briefly entered the North after approval from border guards, who allow South Koreans to enter in exchange for bribes.
