A group of North Korean Christians may visit the United States next month.

A religious organization in South Korea on Wednesday said it will invite North Korean delegates to a New York event on June 20th.

Co-hosted by a U-S group, the event will pray for world peace.

However, he said whether the visit will take place is unclear, citing the North's desire for media embargo on the issue.

The North's eight-member delegation is expected to include the heads of the North's Catholic association and Red Cross.
