The Mount Geumgang tour in North Korea expects its one millionth visitor in June.
The Unification Ministry on Wednesday said about 945 thousand South Koreans have visited the mountain since its 1998 inception.
Almost 90 thousand went there between January and April this year, up 92 percent from the same period last year.
The ministry said that at this pace, the number of South Korean tourists will surpass one million in June.
