South Korea's overseas mission chiefs will discuss diplomatic policy lines and inter-Korean relations during their annual meeting, which opened in southern Seoul Monday for a three-day run.

93 ambassadors from every overseas mission and four consuls general in major cities like Osaka are attending the meeting at the KOICA or Korea International Cooperation Agency's International Cooperation Training Center.

During the sessions, participants will discuss ways to enhance diplomatic strength to spur establishment of a peace regime on the Korean Peninsula and support stable economic growth.

They will focus on possible changes in inter-Korean relations in the wake of the inauguration of the Bush administration in the United States and North Korean leader Kim Jong-il's recent visit to China.
