Bags of fertilizer are being loaded onto three North Korean cargo ships for a second day Tuesday.

One of those ships is set to head back to the North with two thousand tons of fertilizer as early as Tuesday evening. The other two will depart Wednesday.

The North Korean freighters docked in South Korean ports Sunday to transport 83-thousand tons of fertilizer to the North. The shipment is part of the 200-thousand tons of fertilizer South Korea agreed to donate to the North at their talks last week.

The North Korean cargo vessels will make seven more trips to the South to complete the fertilizer delivery.
