Amnesty Blasts NK for Food Crisis

Amnesty International says the North Korean regime's biggest failure is the food crisis.

In its annual world report on human rights, Amnesty on Wednesday said North Korean leader Kim Jong-il has egregiously denied his people fundamental human rights.

It called "inexcusable" Pyongyang's failure to feed its 22 million people and the ensuing spread of chronic malnutrition across the nation, particularly in the northern area.
