Two Koreas Coordinating Views on June 15 Event

The two Koreas are meeting in a second round of talks to discuss joint celebrations for the 5th anniversary of the 2000 inter-Korean summit.

The meeting opened Friday morning at the North's border city of Gaesong. Discussions are focused on the size and itinerary of the South's delegation to the June 15th celebrations.

At the first round of discussions held earlier on Tuesday, the two sides failed to narrow differences.

Last week, North Korea accepted the South's proposal to send a government delegation to celebrations marking the landmark inter-Korean summit held in Pyongyang five years ago.

Unification Minister Chung Dong-young is to head the South's delegation to the four-day event set to kick off on June 14th.
