South Korea will export trainer jets to Indonesia.

The Defense Ministry said it will deliver ten KT-1 planes for basic flight training to the Southeast Asian country over the next three years. First shipment is set to be made this year.

The trainer export deal is in exchange for South Korea's purchase of ten medium-sized transport planes this year.

South Korea began producing the trainer jets in 1995. The trainer costs four point seven million dollars.
