North Korea is calling US deployment of stealth fighters in South Korea nothing short of "aiming artillery" at a planned inter-Korean festival.
A commentary carried by the Rodong Shinmun daily on Friday said the deployment has dampened the festive mood ahead of the planned event to mark the 2000 inter-Korean summit.
It blasted the US action for heightening a sense of crisis and preventing a carefree atmosphere for the inter-Korean festivities.
