The 2nd Korea-Russia working-level officials' meeting to negotiate issues of the importation of Russian military supplies began Tuesday for a four-day run.

The two sides discussed the purchase of items and the overall scale of imports while examining the points agreed on during the first round of talks to ascertain whether they have been duly executed.

Concerning the import of the military supplies, the defense ministry is now considering importing a transportation aircraft, a mid-air fueling plane, a naval buoy boat, and helicopters.

A fact finding team will leave for Russia next month and the final decision will be made by the end of the year.
