Technical experts from South and North Korea are meeting in the North's border town of Gaesong to discuss details for online video reunions of separated families.

Wednesday’s meeting comes after the North’s Red Cross proposed a working-level technical meeting in a telephone message to the South’s Red Cross president, Han Wan-sang, on Monday.

At the 15th inter-Korean ministerial talks last week, the two Koreas agreed to hold reunions of separated families by video link on August 15th and hold preparatory talks on July 10th.

North Korea requested an additional meeting to discuss technical preparations, citing limited time to organize the video reunions.
