The Labor Affairs Ministry has put tackling the increasing number of unemployed on an emergency alert due to recent corporate restructuring and seasonal reasons.

The ministry has extended the working hours of employment centers, labor banks and other related government offices in the nation by two hours.

The ministry will meet with related ministries occasionally to review what measures local governments are using to deal with unemployment.
