The number of North Korean laborers in the Gaesong industrial complex has topped three-thousand.

According to the industrial park’s management committee Monday, three-thousand-193 North Koreans were working in the industrial complex as of the end of last month.

Out of the total, some one-thousand-800 are working in South Korean firms active in Gaesong, with the rest employed by Hyundai Asan and the Korea Land Corporation, the South Korean developers of the industrial complex.
