Koreas Agree to Run Liasion Office

The two Koreas will run a liasion office from August 13th to prevent unintended clashes in the West Sea.

The two sides on Wednesday agreed on the office in the third round of working-level military talks on the South Korean side of the truce village of Panmunjom.

In the preparatory meeting for the third round of an inter-Korean meeting of generals, they also agreed to resume dismantling of propaganda materials built near the border, having agreed in June last year on a complete removal in three phases.

A fourth round of talks on August 12th will address the propaganda removal and the specific date of the generals' meeting on the North Korean side of Panmunjom.
