A Russian news agency says North Korea has finished the final stage of nuclear weapon development by completing a detonator.

Interfax on Friday said the North does not have a nuclear weapon yet, but told China of its trigger device after Pyongyang announced that it had nuclear weapons in February.

The report said the device is part of the final and the most important stage of nuclear weapon development.
