The enactment of nine inter-Korean agreements on economic cooperation will likely be postponed to sometime after Monday, the original date of effectuation.

A government official said Monday that the two Koreas are still holding related discussions via the liaison office at the truce village of Panmunjom.

Regarding the delay, the official said additional cross-border talks and discussions among North Korean authorities remain necessary.

The two Koreas agreed to effectuate nine business accords in early August at the 10th economic cooperation committee meeting that ended July 12th.
