Reunion Center Construction to Begin Aug. 31

The two Koreas will hold a ground-breaking ceremony on August 31th for the construction of a reunion center for separated families.

The eleventh round of inter-Korean family reunions will run between August 26th and 31st.

South and North Korea completed last month measurements and soil analyses of the site in the Jopo district near Mount Geumgang in North Korea.

The North's military also helped prepare the site for the ground-breaking ceremony.

The two Koreas will also discuss agricultural cooperation in the North's border city of Gaesong on August 18th.
