Working-level military officials from the two Koreas are discussing preparations for the third round of inter-Korean General-level military talks.
The talks, the fourth of its kind, opened early Friday morning at Tongilgak pavilion in the northern side of the truce village of Panmunjom.
On the agenda is setting the timetable and format for the third round of inter-Korean General-level military talks set to take place at the North’s Mount Baekdu.
The meeting is also expected to review the progress made in the removal of propaganda facilities along the 248-kilometer inter-Korean border, which resumed on July 25. The project had stalled amid fraying inter-Korean ties weeks after the two sides struck a landmark accord to take down border propaganda devices in June of last year.
