Koreas Confirm DMZ Propaganda Removal

Military officials from the two Koreas have confirmed the removal of all propaganda material and equipment along the inter-Korean border.

They also reaffirmed Friday their implementation of agreements on suspending all propaganda activities and no further installation of related devices in the Demilitarized Zone.

The two sides held talks at Tongilgak Pavilion in the northern side of the truce village of Panmunjom on preparations for the third inter-Korean meeting of generals in North Korea's Mount Baekdu.

Failing to set a specific date for the meeting, the two Koreas will hold further discussions on scheduling after the North said the time for the talks is not yet ripe.
