The North Korean delegation to joint Liberation Day celebrations in Seoul on Tuesday will visit former President Kim Dae-jung in the hospital.
A high-ranking official on Monday said they will visit Kim at the Yonsei University Severance Hospital after a trip to the National Assebmly.
The delegation includes leader Kim Ki-nam, a secretary of the Central Committee of the North's Worker's Party and Lim Dong-ok, vice chairman of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland.
Kim Dae-jung's former secretary Choe Gyeong-hwan declined to confirm their visit.
