NK Delegation to Return Home Wednesday

North Korea’s delegation to the joint Liberation Day festivities will wrap up its four-day visit to the South and return home Wednesday.

Civilian delegations from North Korea and abroad will visit major tourist sites, including Changdok Palace in Seoul, on their last day.

Meanwhile, leading some 20 members, chief delegate Kim Ki-nam visited the historic city of Gyeongju late Tuesday after attending the closing ceremony of the Liberation Day event and returned to Seoul early Wednesday.

The group is set to meet President Roh Moo-hyun later in the day before heading back home in late afternoon.

During their stay, the North Korean delegation made unprecedented visits to the National Cemetery and the National Assembly.
