Seven people presumed to be North Korean refugees on Monday entered an international Korean school in Yentai, China, seeking asylum.

A humanitarian organization that helps North Korean defectors said the two men and five women, including a family of four, sneaked onto school grounds during an entrance ceremony.

They went straight to the office and asked to go to South Korea.
