The former vice president of Hyundai Asan Corporation says he wants to continue helping the Hyundai Group in its North Korea ventures.

Kim Yoon-kyu on Wednesday said he has not received an offer from the group to continue in Hyundai Asan's tours to the North, stressing hiring the right people to lead a successful business.

Kim's dismissal last month over embezzlement charges angered the North, which retaliated by halving the number of South Korean tourists to the Mount Geumgang tour.
