Gov't to Develop Unmanned Stealth Jets by 2020

A Defense Ministry agency is developing a remote-controlled unmanned fighter jet that could avoid detection by enemy radar.

The Agency for Defense Development said in a report for parliament's ongoing annual inspection of government offices that it will use the latest stealth technology to develop the aircraft by 2020.

The agency and the ministry have reportedly designated the development of materials and systems for stealth jets a key project and are developing paints and panels that absorb radar waves.

The agency also plans to apply the stealth technology in making next-generation high speed vessels and manned fighters.
