The Foreign Ministry says the United States in June passed an administrative order freezing 32 million dollars of assets of three North Korean firms for allegedly propagating weapons of mass destruction.

A ministry report submitted to the annual parliamentary inspection of state offices on Monday said the amount was the fourth largest following those of Libya, Cuba and Iran. All four nations are on the U.S. list of terrorist states.

The three companies were Korea Ryonbong General Corporation, Tanchon Commercial Bank and a mining firm.
