Some 300 members from domestic NGOs on inter-Korean cooperation arrived Monday at North Korea's Sunan Airport for a two-day tour of Pyongyang.

To mark the 60th year of Korean liberation from Japanese colonial rule, the delegation visited the commemorative arch Mangyeongdae, Juche Tower and other historic sites in the city and saw in the evening a traditional musical performance at Neukrado Stadium.

The group will also see King Dongmyeong's mausoleum and eat lunch at the famed restaurant Okryugwan before returning to South Korea at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Sixteen other groups comprising more than 4,700 South Koreans will visit the North in stages through October 15th.
