North Korea has warned that Washington's continued remarks on its human rights issue could negatively affect the six-way nuclear talks.

The North's official daily, Rodong Shinmun, said in a Tuesday commentary that the United States had agreed to respect Pyongyang's sovereignty at the latest six-way talks, and warned against any U.S. attempt to overthrow the Stalinist state's institutions.

The paper said bilateral ties will further aggravate if Washington continues to pursue a perceived 'hostile' North Korea policy and call attention to the North's human rights situation.
