A travel agency in Seoul will resume from October 4th to 15th tours to North Korea's capital of Pyongyang.

Pyonghwa Air Travel Agency on Tuesday said it signed a contract with Mount Geumgang International Tour Company of the North on overnight tours of 150 people each.

Some 1,600 tourists are expected to go, and can choose to watch a traditional music or "arirang" show as an option.

Pyonghwa began the tour in September 2003, but stopped after sending 1,000 tourists in the wake of worsening inter-Korean relations after the North refused to allow tourists to visit their ancestral graves.

The company is a subsidiary of Pyonghwa Motor, a Seoul-based car importer which has a joint venture with the North's Ryonbong General Corporation.
