'NK Getting Enough Aid from Seoul, Beijing'

An international aid worker says North Korea does not want further aid from the U.N. World Food Program because it receives adequate assistance from South Korea and China.

Radio Free Asia on Wednesday said Kathy Zellweger, a director at the Catholic relief agency Caritas, also told Russia's RIA Novosti news agency Monday that the North enjoyed a bumper crop this year.

On the North's request to shift U.N. assistance from food to developmental aid that promotes self-sufficiency, she said the North is not ready for an advanced open-door policy that is essential for global cooperation.
