WFP: NK Markets Not Selling Grain

The World Food Program says North Korean markets have suspended grain sales while food distribution centers there Saturday began food rationing nationwide.

The U.N. body announced the findings In an emergency report released Saturday, in which it also projected the North's agricultural production to greatly increase this year.

The North has recently requested discontinuation of emergency relief aid.

The WFP also said it has discussed future food aid with North Korean authorities.
