The organizing committee for the first World Cyber Games has been launched in a ceremony in Seoul.

One hand were three hundred dignitaries, including joint chairmen of the organizing committee Kim Han-gill, Minister of Culture and Tourism and Yun Jong-young, CEO of Samsung Electronics Company. Ambassador Tony Hely from Australia as well as 24 other ambassadors from the nations which will take part in the festival also attended the ceremony. The event touted as the largest game festival is slated for December.

The organizing committee will carry out various promotional activities to build the event's credibility and to develop the tournament as the first and foremost global cyber festival.
