Hyundai Asan Corporation from Saturday will likely hold talks with North Korea for the first time since the company fired its long-time pointman for operations in the North.

A Korea Tourism Organization official in Seoul said Thursday that the company has agreed to discuss Mount Baekdu tours with the North during a four-day trip to Pyongyang organized by the KTO.

The company early this month angered Pyongyang by ousting vice chairman Kim Yoon-kyu for embezzlement.
