A Korean-language daily published by a pro-North Korea group in Japan reports that the North's largest television set manufacturer has established production lines for digital TV sets.

The online edition of the Chosun Shinbo reported Friday that the Daedonggang Television Factory had revamped its analog TV assembly lines to accommodate the production of digital televisions. It also said that production capacity would be increased to six times the previous level.
