DHL Korea said Monday. South Koreans can send packages to North Korea through DHL's Worldwide Express delivery service.
DHL Korea said it can send packages and documents to North Korea for South Korean corporations and businessmen that have government-authorized business connections to the socialist country.
For instance, the company said it recently delivered packages of groceries that the Korean Peninsula Energy Development Organization (KEDO) sent to its construction workers at the light water reactor site in North Korea's Shinpo, South Hamgyong Province.
However, the company cannot guarantee delivery to all parts of the North: it can send items to only a few big cities, including Pyongyang, Rajin-Sonbong, Hamhung and Nampo. It is also unable to deliver letters or cash.
