Vice Unification Minister Lee Bong-jo says the Hyundai Group has agreed to North Korea's proposal to hold talks in early November.
Lee said that the group replied in the affirmative on Tuesday, following the North's proposal for talks with Hyundai Group Chairwoman Hyun Jung-eun.
As a result, Hyun is expected to sit down for talks with the vice chairman of the North's Asia-Pacific Peace Committee, Ri Jong-hyok, early next month.
