Inter-Korean exchanges of TV programs are growing, with South Korea buying 114 North Korean programs and selling 22.

Pyo Chul-soo, secretary general of the Korean Broadcasting Commission in Seoul, said Thursday that the sales came this week in the second inter-Korean meeting on TV programs on Mount Geumgang.

In the first meeting two years ago in Pyongyang, the South bought 66 programs from the North and sold 14.

Pyo said broadcast of the programs in the two Koreas will help promote understanding of each side's culture and restore homogeneity of the Korean Peninsula.
